Kawasaki Halloween Parade
Kawasaki Halloween Parade is held on the last Sunday in October every year. Lots of people go all out every year and parade 1.5 km around Kawasaki Station's East Exit from 2:30 pm to 4 pm. From 4 to 5 pm, they choose the best costumes of the year in front of Yodobashi Camera. In 2016, it was a bunch of drunken oden おでん, the pots of fish cakes and other things you can see at convenience stores when it starts to get cold. Kids parade is held on Saturday. There are also lots of other events around, including projection mapping at LA CITTADELLA ラ チッタデッラ, a fake Italian mall. Even though it's a good idea to get there a bit earlier to get a good spot, it's a lot less crowded than most of Tokyo's festivities. More pictures from the 2015 and 2016 parades!!
